Environmental engineering finds its foundation in the broader field of civil engineering from which it was born. Its structures are more complex, require more maintenance and consumption of energy and resources not used in civil engineering.

Its objectives are not only constructive, aesthetic and structural, but the service they provide has as a priority the health, the welfare of the population, the protection of the environment and integration of the works in the urban and environmental context where they are inserted. IGB has extensive experience in the definition and execution of this type of work.

The Integrated Management System implemented in IGB complies with the quality requirements established by ISO 9001: 2008 and with the environmental standards of ISO 14001: 2004.
