RESTORATION OF THE WALL OF THE CASA DE CAMPO LAKE

IGB has carried out the technical assistance to the construction management in what has been the most important rehabilitation since 1982 of this historic site in the city of Madrid, declared of Cultural Interest B.I.C. in 2010.

The project consists of an action that has solved the structural problems detected in the retaining walls of the lake, while developing an integral design of improvement and dignification of this emblematic aquatic ecosystem.

The work, with a budget of 2.6 million euros, has equipped the lake with a perimeter route with new flooring, improvements in accessibility, a view point, comfortable benches and a new pier, completing the existing plant mass with new species, thus enhancing the character and use of the areas, giving each of them its own identity.
